After a tumultuous year for the MCU, the Marvel 2025 slate is looking to steer the Kevin Feige-led ship in the right direction.

To start the year, “Captain America: Brave New World” will feature Anthony Mackie’s theatrical debut as the Star Spangled Man, as well as Harrison Ford’s Thaddeus ‘Thunderbolt’ Ross. This will be followed by the Sebastian Stan and Florence Pugh-led “Thunderbolts*” which looks to be Marvel’s attempt at a “Suicide Squad” film. The last of the confirmed theatrical releases is the highly-anticipated “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” starring Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn.

The Marvel 2025 lineup is definitely looking to shake things up, especially coming off Robert Downey Jr.’s surprise casting as Victor von Doom. However, there’s much more to be excited about on the Disney+ side of things.

“Daredevil: Born Again”

Almost a decade since the premiere of its third season on Netflix and after several showstopping cameos, Charlie Cox’s Daredevil is finally coming to the MCU. What awaits him after all this time? Jon Bernthal’s return as the Punisher and Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin as the mayor of New York—all in a day’s work for the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen.

“Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man”

Forget the likes of “Arcane” or “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse”—not every animated film or show has to look like it has a $100 million budget. There’s still room for different art styles in the animation space and “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man” looks to add to the interest “X-Men ’97” generated for classic, comic-like animations.

“Marvel Zombies”

From a highlight episode on the season one of “What If?”, “Marvel Zombies” will finally take us on a four-episode exploration of a zombified MCU. So far, Blade, Yelena Belova, Shang-Chi, Kate Bishop, and the Red Guardian are confirmed to make their animated debut.

“Eyes of Wakanda”

The third on Marvel’s list of 2025 animation releases, “Eyes of Wakanda” is set to be a four-part animated anthology series following several Wakandan warriors and their journeys to retrieve vibranium artifacts.

“Ironheart”

Riri Williams and Ironheart undoubtedly did not have the most stellar of introductions with her inclusion in “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.” It’s a tall task after all becoming the unofficial “Iron Man” post Robert Downey Jr. Will an “Ironheart” show change public opinion? Who knows? But it seems Kevin Feige is not yet giving up on the character.

“What If?” Season 3

We’ve seen T’Challa become Star-Lord, we’ve followed Black Widow and Hawkeye through a robot apocalypse, and we’ve learned the dangers of an Ultron with all the infinity stones. What hypothetical scenario is next?

“Wonder Man”

Marvel is no stranger to introducing new characters out of nowhere and it seems Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (who played Black Manta in “Aquaman”) is next. Who’s Wonder Man? A stuntman, actorgvg777, and superhero to be joined by Ben Kingsley’s Trevor Slattery (The Mandarin in “Iron Man 3”) in what looks to be Marvel’s hero-themed sitcom.
